Paquelet and Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral HomesKay Williams, 91, of North Canton, passed away on March 26, 2026 at Sanctuary Grande.
She was born on August 17, 1934 to the late Wilbur and Maxine (Miller) Kerlin in Freeport, IL.
Kay was a graduate of Freeport Memorial High School, Class of 1952 and received her associates degree from Kent State University. She loved to play music, and gave piano and voice lessons. She loved to travel and spent years traveling and lived abroad with her husband. Kay was a talented writer, who published several short stories and poetry.
Kay is survived by her loving children Karen (Bill August) Jackson, Philip Bardell, and Terence (Patricia) Bardell; step-children Bob (Beth) Williams and Sue Begue; grandchildren, Cassie, Kris, Tami, Teri, Dany, Lisa, Jenny, Lindsey, and Kylie; 6 great -grandchildren; a beloved cousin Sandy and many other nieces and cousins.
In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Williams; son William R. Bardell; and siblings Carol Jean Kerlin, Charlene Vallarta, and Covil Kerlin.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, with a memorial service starting at 2:00 pm, Pastor Gary Smith officiating.
Inurnment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Akron Canton Food Bank.
