Kaylee was born on January 1, 2006 to her loving parents, David and Brandi (Miller) Goodman. She graduated a year early from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and had plans to pursue higher education at Bluegrass Community Technical College in the fall.
Those who knew Kaylee describe her as being an uplifting and kind hearted soul. She had an infectious personality that touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her unwavering loyalty to her friends and loved ones was a testament to her remarkable character. She will forever remain in our hearts, a shining light that will continue to inspire us.
Kaylee will be deeply missed by her grieving parents, David and Brandi, her brother Kyle (Jonika May), her sister Kloey, her grandparents Jimmy and B.J. Miller, Tony and Cheryl Goodman, Phillip and Stacy Martin, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, niece Eva and countless friends.
A celebration of Kaylee's life will be held to honor her memory at Lex City Church (410 Sporting Ct, Lexington, KY 40503) on June 13, 2023. All are welcome for the visitation 6 - 6:45PM and the service at 7PM. This gathering will provide an opportunity for all who loved and cherished Kaylee to come together, share stories, and find solace in one another's support.

Kaylee was a wonderful and beautiful one of a kind soul. She was a caring, loving, and cherishable person. I am thankful for Kaylee as she helped shape who I am today. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, after months of not being around anyone I met Kaylee as she had a gathering at her house, from there we clicked and started our summer friend group, which shaped me to who I am today and I look back and thank Kaylee for that.
To Kaylee, I want to say this to you as my final goodbye; I love and appreciate you and I'll miss your presence on this earth forever. I am so sad to see such a beautiful and kind soul with such huge potential have to go, but I know you have better things planned in heaven.

Kaylee spent many days at my house with my children Maci Grace and Tyler Wyan. Kaylee was such a beautiful child inside and out. She was so sweet to reach out to me after the tragic loss of my daughter Maci Grace Wyan and continued to reach out to support Tyler. We are devastated for your loss and are here to support you in anyway possible.

I knew kaylee sense she was born, a long time family friend and neighbor. She was like a little sister to me and she always will be. She always had an amazing smile and an amazing story to tell, I will always miss the wild "kaylee stories" no one knew which part was true but they were always fun to hear. We all love you and miss you kaylee.

Kaylee was my truest friend from day 1. I don´t remember a single time she wasn´t there for me the second i needed her. Me and kaylee had a friendship that was inseparable. No matter how many days we went w out talking, the second we did it was like no time had past. I am so thankful i got to grow up in life w her by my side and i don´t know how i´m going to continue without her. this is truly the most heartbreaking thing. I love you so much kaylee, you are everything to me. until we meet again.

I am a friend of Kaylee and danced with her at Elevate Academy of Dance. She was such a beautiful soul. She is greatly missed by so many. She was always smiling and had such a big beautiful personality. I will always remember her as a sweet, caring, loving and beautiful girl. I am keeping everyone grieving in my thoughts and prayers. Grief is closest to love.

I didn´t know kaylee all that well but I will always remember how radiant her smile was and that is something I will never forget. She would always smile at me when we were passing through the halls or she would sometimes tell me what she had done over the weekend before math class. I will always remember how kind she was to me and I wish I could have gotten to know her better. From the few conversations we shared, it was clear to me that she was kind and genuine to everyone she crossed paths with.
