In Loving Of Memory Kaylee Marie Huff, 19, of Hartford, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 27, 2025, at home. She was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her, a precious soul who brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. Born on March 19, 2005, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kaylee was the beloved daughter of Allen and Carleen Huff. Her sweet smile was contagious, and her beautiful blue eyes spoke volumes, shining with love and happiness. Mornings were special for Kaylee, as she cherished her coffee time with her parents, a simple but treasured ritual.
Kaylee was deeply loved by her family. Her little buddy, nephew Genesis, along with nieces Katie and Tiana, always found a way to make her laugh. Her brother Steven affectionately gave her the nickname "K-Bear," a name that will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her brother-in-law, Darius, made sure their daily visits were filled with love and laughter. Kaylee's sister, Ashley, was her lifelong companion and support, she was "the Rock" for their mother Carleen, and contributed greatly to Kaylee's life.
One of Kaylee's greatest joys was attending school, where she built friendships that enriched her life. She also loved traveling and had the opportunity to take two unforgettable trips. She attended a Celtic Thunder concert in Reno, Nevada, where her excitement caught the attention of a crew member. That night, he surprised her at her hotel with a teddy bear and a CD signed by the entire group-a gesture that meant the world to her. Kaylee also visited SeaWorld in San Diego, where she delighted in being splashed by the dolphins.
Kaylee is survived by her loving parents, Allen and Carleen Huff; her siblings, Steven Huff, and Ashley Bentley and husband Darius; her cherished nephew, Genesis Huff, and nieces, Katie and Tiana Bentley; and her grandfather, James Huff. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Dale Mahoney, and her uncle, Gene Huff.
Throughout her life, Kaylee was surrounded by exceptional kindness. Several nurses became like family to her, including her "adopted" Nana Barb, Papa Don, and Miss Jayna. A dear friend, Mike Dunn, went above and beyond to raise $1,500 in just four days to help Kaylee receive care at Cincinnati Children Hospital. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who played a special role in her life.
Kaylee's presence was a gift, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at River Glenn Chapel, located at 1805 North A Street in
Fort Smith, AR 72901.
God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be So he put His arms around you And He whispered, 'Come to me'.
With tearful eyes we watched you, As you slowly slipped away Although we loved you dearly We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Kaylee, please visit our Tree Store.
