Keisha White-Weaver was born on January 14, 1977, to Jesse J. White Jr. and Leona Reed in New Orleans, LA. Family and friends enjoyed Keisha's loving, kind spirit until God softly spoke on March 25, 2024, and called her from earth to glory.
Keisha grew up in Orleans Parish, before moving to Jefferson Parish, where she attended West Jefferson Sr. High School. Keisha also furthered her education by earning a General Studies degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. Keisha married the love of her life, Timothy Weaver, on December 6, 2019. She was employed as a Sales Associate at both Pep Boys and Kay Jewelers at the time of her passing.
Keisha was a devoted wife, lover of pets, and an avid traveler. If there was a place in the world Keisha had dreams and aspirations of visiting, she made it a reality. Keisha loved baking and cooking holiday dinners. Her specialty dish that was a hot commodity was her stuffed bell peppers. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, watching from home and attending wrestling events, and looking after her nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren. Holding true to her worship of God, she was a dedicated member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church.
Keisha leaves to cherish her loving spirit, her husband, Timothy Weaver; father, Jesse J. White Jr.; mother, Leona Reed; step-father, Glenn Anderson; brother, Jesse J. White, III (Janá) of Cedar Hill, TX; and 4 sisters, Nia Fleming-Martin (Jafus), Deshawn Wilson-Simmons (Patrick) of Dallas, GA, Juanita Fleming of Houston, TX, Jessica Fleming (Peter) of Houston, TX; godsons, Jonah C. Gray and Nathan Sanchez-Anderson; goddaughters, Lauren L. Batiste and Jessica A. Lee; special friend of the family, Ronald Evans, as well as a host of honorary children, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and very special friends.
Keisha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse J. White, Sr. & Annie M. White and Leonard Reed Sr. & Enola Reed; and brother, Darnell Sherman.
Relatives and friends of the family are all invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 10:00AM, at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 3512 US-90, Avondale, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the hour of service. Interment Restlawn Memorial Park, Avondale, LA.

Keisha was an amazing childhood friend. We would stay on the phone for hours at night dreaming of finding our forever loves. Keisha could make up some of the greatest dreams. She loved reading her romance novels, which helped with our dreams. We lost touch for years until God brought us back together five years ago just in time for us to see that we were getting married the same year. I will be forever grateful that God made it possible for Keisha to attend my wedding. Her smile is one I have never forgotten and never will. My mom and I send our love and prayers to everyone who loves Keisha.
