Keith D. Babcock Sr.

Keith Douglas Babcock, Sr., age 65, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 8th, 2023.
Born in Franklin to the late Elmer and Nellie (Rude) Babcock, he has been a lifelong resident of Vernon. Keith worked as an equipment operator at Glacial Soil for thirty-plus years, then as a custodian for Vernon Twp. Schools. Keith enjoyed watching Nascar, demolition derbies, and the Miami Dolphins, and cutting firewood.
Keith is predeceased by his parents; brother Larry Babcock; grandchildren Jesse and Zoey; and wife Peggy Babcock. He is the devoted father of Keith "Doug" Babcock, Jr., and his wife Shana of Wantage and Melissa "Missy" Babcock, of Sussex; loving grandfather of Audrianna, Heath, Julianne, Hannah, Izabella, Khloe, and Daltyn. He raised his godsons, Kevin and Craig Smith. Dear brother of Bonnie and Vicky Babcock of Vernon, Billy and Mike Babcock of Wantage, Fred Babcock and Margie Fountain of Franklin, Art Babcock of Scranton, PA, Heidi Babcock of Gloversville, NY, and Bertha and Bucky of Dingmans Ferry, PA.
Visitation for Keith will be held on Friday, May 12th, 2023, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. A funeral service will be on Saturday, May 13th, 11AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
