Keith D. Braun, age 72 of Parlin, suddenly passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in South Amboy to the late John and Jeanne Braun, Keith was a lifelong resident of Sayreville. Before his retirement, Keith worked as a maintenance mechanic for the Middlesex County Utilities Authority. He was a life member and past president of the Sayreville Emergency Squad. Keith loved hunting and cars and was everyone's go to guy. "Mr. Fix-It" loved helping everyone whenever he could. He was a great family man, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who he came to know and love.
Keith is survived by his beloved wife of more than 50 years, Linda Braun (Sarg) of Parlin; his loving children Keith Braun and his wife Margaux of Mt. Olive, and Michele Braun of Sayreville; his cherished grandchildren Tobin and Abigail; his brother Randy Braun; his faithful companion and loving cat Digit; as well as many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will take place on Monday from 4pm to 8pm at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. Religious services are scheduled for Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with a private cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Keith's name to either Karma Cat Rescue at www.karmacat.org/donate or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate.
