Funeral services for Mr. Keith Wayne Feverjean, 68, of Lake Arthur, will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Visitation for Mr. Feverjean will begin Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 1:15 p.m.
Mr. Keith was born on November 7, 1954, in Abbeville, LA, to Joseph Doris Feverjean and Edlore Marie Laviolette Feverjean. After high school graduation, he went to work in the oil and gas industry as a crane operator. Mr. Feverjean loved football and racing and he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his family. Keith served his country honorably during the Viet Nam era in the United States Navy as a Seamans Apprentice. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kami Feverjean (Bill) McKenna of Mobile, AL; son, Kasey (Amber) Feverjean, also of Mobile, AL; sister, Sharon (Mike) Rizzuto of Gueydan; two brothers, Derrell (Marilyn) Feverjean of Lake Arthur and Clint Feverjean of Lake Arthur; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
