Keith William Generotzke, age 83 of Hartford Wisconsin, passed away at The Pavilion in Slinger, Wisconsin on Thursday, February 20th, 2025, from complications of Fahrs disease.
Keith was born January 1, 1942, to Lillian and Hilbert Generotzke in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to his loving wife Cheryl on November 12th, 1988.
Keith proudly served on the Milwaukee Police Department for 30 years. He was a very dedicated officer, who was honored to serve his community. Keith won policeman of the year in 1991 for saving the life of a baby.
Keith was an avid hunter and fisherman. He made many memories with his children on these trips. He had many wonderful fishing adventures with Doc, that will be shared for many years.
Keith is survived by his son, Todd (Kristen) Generotzke, daughter, Lori LaGrow; his first wife, Shirley Johnson; wife of 36 years, Cheryl Generotzke; four stepchildren, Randy, Tami, Jeff, and Cheri; ten step grandchildren, and five step great-grandchildren.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Hilbert and Lillian; and sister, Marilyn.
Funeral Services for Keith will be Monday, February 24, 2025, at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, Hartford, WI. Family will greet relatives and friends from 1:30 p.m. until the start of service at 3:30 p.m.
