Obituary for Richard Keith Kintner
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Keith Kintner, who departed this life on December 10, 2024, at the age of 91. He was born on November 12, 1933, in Louisville, Kentucky. Keith was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and a cherished member of his community.
Keith's professional journey began at the University of Louisville, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering and met the love of his life, Ann Kintner. Their 67 years of marriage were filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Together, they created a home in Cincinnati, Ohio, where Keith became known not only for his accomplishments in the professional world but for his generous spirit and commitment to his faith in Jesus Christ.
An accomplished engineer, Keith spent his career with General Electric, where his expertise and dedication left a lasting impact. However, it was his passion for woodworking and craftsmanship that truly defined him. In his retirement, he channeled this passion into service, lovingly creating pulpits, crosses, and various church furniture, enriching the worship spaces of various Presbyterian churches including the Christ Covenant Church.
Keith is survived by his devoted wife, Ann Kintner; his son, Bill Kintner and daughter-in-law Lauren; his daughter, Joanna Bartsch; and his beloved grandchildren, Jaynee, Graham, and Cameron Bartsch. He is also survived by his nephew, Carl Ellsworth. Keith's legacy will continue to illuminate the lives of all who had the privilege to know him.
In honor of Keith, donations can be made to the Christ Covenant Church, 2191 Struble Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 or to the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) at https://www.tbn.org/give/donate.
Visitation in honor of Keith will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 10:00am-11:00am at Christ Covenant Church, 2191 Struble Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231. A funeral service will take place at 11:00am and a luncheon will follow. Burial will be held at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 on Monday, December 16, 2024 with all meeting at the Family Gathering Area at 11:15am for 11:30 graveside service.
