Keith E. Lanphear, age 75, of Wisconsin Dells (White Creek), Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Adams VFW Hall in Adams, Wisconsin. A service of remembrance, officiated by Rev. John K. Stake, will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by military honors.
Keith was born on May 16, 1949, to Clyde and Julia Lanphear. A graduate of Adams-Friendship High School, he went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, he attended MATC for mechanics.
On May 16, 1976, Keith married Geraldine M. Robinson at the White Creek Congregational Church.
He spent his career as a truck driver, working statewide before joining Scotts Construction, where he dedicated 30 years of service until his retirement.
Keith was a charter member of the Easton-White Creek Lions Club. He was very active in the Lions and his community.
He had a passion for country music and enjoyed his daily visits to the Corner Pump.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Julia Lanphear, and his infant sister, Laurie Julia Lanphear.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Geraldine; children: Mike Lanphear, Tonya (Dan) Redlin, Keith (Tiffany) Lanphear II, and Riley Lanphear; grandchildren: Christina (Justin) Kruse, Gregory Ellis II, Jonathan (Andrea) Redlin, Rebecca (Damien Wojak) Ellis, Hunter Redlin, and Terisa Redlin; great-grandchildren: Cayden and Jaxon Kruse, Ellaina and Emma Wojak, Benjamin Suclle, and Andrew Gifford. He is also survived by his siblings: Larry Lanphear, Wayne Lanphear, and Meryl Lanphear, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
