Keith Lotter Obituary

Keith P. Lotter,

beloved husband, brother, uncle

SOMERSWORTH, N.H. - Keith P. Lotter, 69, formerly of Portville, N.Y., passed away Wednes-day, Jan. 1, 2025, at home, with family by his side.

He was born in 1955 in Olean, N.Y. In 1980 he married the love of his life, the former Lisa Osgood, who survives.

Keith got his airbrush certificate from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Pa., and continued to pursue silk screening. He was very hands-on mechanically, with carpentry and inventing solutions to problems.

Air conditioner too heavy to lift to the window to put it in? He put two riding lawnmowers together with a Prius power steering unit and made a mast to lift the A/C unit easily. Lisa doesn't like the 1950s kitchen? He made all the cabinets from scratch with many unique built-in ideas. The list is endless. Even if he didn't get the solution he wanted at first, he continued to pursue it until he got it the way he wanted it, often hunting highways and byways for the parts he was looking for and making friends along the way.

He enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee and shooting the breeze with them. They meant a lot to him. Keith and Lisa spent 24 years wonderful years boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, and made many good friends over those years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with the family. Interment will be in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville, under the direction of Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 51 S. Main St., Portville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, P.O. Box 517, Portville, NY 14770, marked for road repairs; or to the Portville Free Library, P.O. Box 768, Portville, NY 14770, in Keith's name. Please consider donating a hardcover book in his memory.
