In loving memory of Keith Mierzwa, born on April 8, 1976, who entered into eternal rest and to be with his Lord on October 5, 2025. Keith lived a life marked by kindness, positivity, and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Keith’s career path took him to the Peak and Peak Ski Resort and Lake Shore Country Club in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he contributed not only his skills but also his warm spirit. He approached every task with a sweet smile and a positive attitude, bringing joy to those around him.
Education was important to Keith, and he graduated from Northeast High School before furthering his studies at EIT Computer School in Erie. This dedication to learning reflected his inquisitive nature and the eagerness to grow and develop throughout his life.
His personality was truly special, always upbeat and deeply spiritual. Keith had a love for caring for family pets, showing his gentle ways and nurturing spirit. He found great joy in communicating with family and friends, maintaining those precious connections that brought warmth and comfort to all his relationships.
Keith was a devoted son who cherished his mother and showed unwavering support. He remained closely connected with his siblings, often bringing them together through his caring nature. His memory is forever etched in the hearts of his beloved family members.
He was preceded by his father, Lorin R. Mierzwa.
Keith leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother, Sherry (Allen Liles) Mierzwa; siblings, Lorin "Todd" Mierzwa and Shannon Mierzwa Parker; nephew, Everhett Parker; aunt and godmother, Nettie (Tony) Cloe; cousins, Amanda Wienczkowski and Kayla Salmon; best friend of 20 years, Mike Shahan and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral mass service to honor Keith's life will be held on October 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Incarnation Catholic Church located at 2229 Lower Hunters Trace, Louisville, KY 40216. Friends and family are invited to gather at this special time to remember and celebrate the beautiful life of Keith Mierzwa.
Keith will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens - West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, following the church mass service.
Though he may no longer walk among us, Keith’s spirit lives on in the love he shared and the memories he created. His light will continue to shine in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in his remarkable journey.
