Marlene Gray, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Marlene was a loving mother and was devoted to her family. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed tending to her cats. Marlene was a wonderful cook and a skilled caretaker to many in her family. Most importantly, Marlene was the best friend that her son and daughter could have been blessed with. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She was born on October 13, 1939 in Huntington, West Virginia to Roscoe and Beatrice (Mount) Henry. She is preceded in death by her father, Roscoe Henry; mother, Beatrice Henry; and former husbands, Paul Griffith and Bernard Gray.
Marlene is survived by her loving family, daughter, Fawnda (Chris) Callebs; son, Jeff (Katrina) Griffith; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, at Greenbottom Memorial Park in Lesage, West Virginia.
