Keith C. Weldon, 76, of Harbor Beach, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Saginaw. Keith was born August 29, 194,8 in Lapeer to William and Marcia (Cary) Weldon. Keith grew up in Lapeer, graduating in 1966 from Lapeer West High School. He soon after served our country in the Army and was deployed to Vietnam. Keith worked for the USPS for 25 years. Prior to his retirement in 1992, he was the Postmaster in Almont, MI. On July 16, 1988, he married Linda Henry (Ruhl) in Davison, MI.
Keith was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt waterfowl, turkeys, and most especially rabbit hunting. Whether he was in the woods behind his home, state land, or Drummond Island, he was in his element. Throughout the years, he had many Beagles join him on his hunting adventures. He shot league trap and skeet for many years and has the trophies to prove it. Keith enjoyed watching all sports. Sadly, he did not get to witness a Lions Super Bowl.
Keith was a member of the Mid-Michigan Model Makers, Harbor Beach Gun Club, Almont Archery, a former member of the Lapeer Sportsman Club, and the Almont Lions Club.
Keith is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Amy (Rudy) Vanwel; stepson Matthew (Janice) Henry; grandsons Finn Vanwel, Willem Vanwel, Ezra Henry; granddaughter Sara Henry; sisters in law Kathy (Chuck) Currie; Lisa (James) Lewis; brother-in-law and best hunting buddy Brian (Julie) Ruhl; many nieces and nephews; his fur babies and constant companions Lily, Erin, and Martha, who will miss him greatly.
Per Keith's wishes, there will be no formal service. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer.
