Hi Harold “Butch” Fox of Prescott, Michigan, formerly of Lapeer
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully at his sisters home with family by his side on Thursday, May 15, 2025. He was 65 years old. Harold Myron Fox was born on December 23, 1959, in Caro, Michigan, Michigan, to the late Heinrich Adolf Johann and Amilia August (Wallace) Sattelberg and adopted by the late, Myron E. and Rose Marie (Wallace) Fox. He was a proud 1978 graduate of Lapeer West High School. Following graduation, Butch went on to work for his father’s roofing and cabinet building business for many years of loyal and dedicated service. He married the love of his life, Victoria; she passed away on January 18, 1990. Butch was an easy going, carefree man, who loved to prank and joke around with everyone. His little piece of heaven was going to Sage Lake, where he would spend time fishing, water skiing, and gathering with family. Butch also enjoyed hunting and had profound respect for nature. He loved animals of all kind, but he loved feeding his birds and squirrels.
Surviving are six children: Laun (Brandy) Dearman; Megan Dearman; Rose Fox; Cynthia Fox; Britney Wellington; and Krissy Ostrum; many grandchildren; brother’s and sister’s: Mark (Paula) Fox; Susan (Dewayne) Ulmer; Sharon (John) Luark; Bill (Gloria) Sattelberg; Margaret Miller; Morley Griffen; Kathy (Doug) Gill. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Sattelberg; two sisters, Diane Earmart and Trudy Wells.
Honoring Butches wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
