It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith Richard Wiley, who departed this life on June 11, 2025, at the age of 58 at his home in Atlanta, GA.
Born on March 10, 1967, in Fort Riley, Kansas, he was raised in and lived in Mentor, OH until 2001, when he moved to Atlanta, GA.
Keith was a true warrior, having fought cancer for 8-1/2 years. Throughout his brave battle with this terrible disease, he never lost his warmth and kindness, which were matched only by his quiet strength and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He leaves behind his beloved partner of over 20 years, Paul F. Setzer, with whom he shared a life filled with love, joy, travel, and cherished friends. Keith is also survived by his mother Coletta (nee Sprenger) Wiley & siblings Tim (Tammie) Wiley, Kevin (Camille) Wiley, and Karen (Mike) Ferrante.
Keith was a loving uncle to Stephanie Ferrante, Dominic Ferrante, Vincent Ferrante, Angelo Ferrante, Keara Wiley, Cacey Wiley, and Ashley Wiley. And he was a treasured godfather to Dominic Ferrante, Vincent Ferrante, Ryan Kovacs, Kyle Kovacs, and Timothy Rae.
Keith was preceded in death by his beloved father, Dr. Wayne R. Wiley.
A lifelong professional in the restaurant industry, Keith brought passion and excellence to everything he did. Starting a long career at McDonalds while in high school, he progressed from franchise to corporate management. Then in Atlanta, he moved into business management for a local restaurant group. Outside of work, Keith's heart belonged to music-he found joy and spiritual fulfillment playing guitar in his church choir. He was also an enthusiastic traveler, particularly fond of cruise ship vacations. His trademark smile and friendliness always made him welcomed by strangers, wherever he went.
Keith lived a life rich in family, friends, laughter, and music. And his legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and love. His presence brightened every room, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 19, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor, OH.
Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am Friday, June 20, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, OH, with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. All who knew and loved Keith are welcome to come and share in remembrance of a life beautifully lived.
Donations to the American Cancer Society would help continue Keith's fight against the disease.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your son, Coletta. I looked for his name in the church bulletin and saw it was not there. Now he is all well again up there with our Dear Lord Jesus. May God comfort you as the pain is hard in losing a child.
Love, Kathy Whalen DeLisio

So sorry to hear of the passing of our grade school friend. Keith was one of the good guys and probably a big reason I started playing acoustic guitar. Condolences to the entire family
