Kell was born to Corey Bishop Sr and Diane Fleury on a very cold, and snowy day at Mitchell South Dakota. People would ask if Kell was really our child because Our baby was so beautiful. Kell attended Chamberlain Elementary School, Chamberlain SD until Kell, Kells Mom, Sister Sweetie and brother J.W. moved to Green Bay WI Kell and Sweetie attended Oneida Elementary School, Oneida WI and started to Learn the Oneida Language which was a requirement, they would come home and Speak in the language and I would be lost in translation lol Kell and his family then moved months later to De Pere WI where Kell and Sweetie attended Dickinson Elementary School, De Pere Middle School and Kell eventually graduated from De Pere High School, De Pere WI, June of 2017.
Kell went on to further his education and graduated from Northwestern Technical College (NWTC), Green Bay, WI with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Kell worked many places and became our strength of our family. Kell worked at McDonald's right down the street from us since his sophomore year in High School and eventually became a manager at McDonalds for several years. Kell met his wife Arissa at McDonald's August, 2015. Kells greatest highlight of working at McDonald's was visiting with the elderly. He was very patient with people who had disabilities as well as the Elderly. Kells brother J.W. is autistic and we believe this is why Kell had the patience With those with disabilities.
Kell began working for FedEx and worked on beating time for deliveries because he wanted to get done early with work. But that was Kell always succeeding at What he put his mind to. Kell's goal was to obtain a position in law enforcement Kell and Arissa moved to Milwaukee WI, and he began working at Marquette University Police Department as a Police Officer. I know this position held a lot of trauma for Kell, you read about the Crime in Milwaukee every day, but Kell was determined to stay. Kell wanted to obtain a job within the Green Bay area and just recently applied for positions.
Kell had so much determination and willingness to succeed in life at whatever he put his mind to from a puzzle, game, craft, studies, obtaining a perfect credit score, buying a ninja 650 motorcycle, buying a pickup, paying his bills, having an immaculate home with beautiful things. He truly did live by his name; given to him By Mitakuyeowasin, Wanbli Iuskinyan, his good heartedness really did shine through. Kell was to be born on November 11, 1998, Veterans Day. His name was intended to Be Akicita, but he came sooner than expected.
Kell is survived by his wife: Arissa Bishop: one sister: Kalaira "Sweetie" Bishop, Green Bay, WI, six brothers: Timothy Fleury, Pierre, SD, Wyatt Fleury, Jason Wells Jr, Joel Bishop, Roger Bishop and Corey Bishop Jr., all of Fort Thompson South Dakota; mother: Diane Fleury Fernandez; mother and father-in-law: Jill Hendricks and Richard Hendricks; grandpa: Ronald Wounded Knee; Tunwin: Janice Bad Moccasin; stepfather: Nestor Fernandez; stepsisters: Katiusca Fernandez, Nesya Fernandez, and Andrea Fernandez. in crime, not literally. They were always up to something…. there was never a dull moment with Kell and Jarrett…. never……
Kell lost his dad, Corey Bishop Sr at 2 years old. Kell was his dad's pride and joy. You would Find Kell and his dad riding down the road, Kell standing beside him in his monster truck. Kell and Sweetie throughout the years would try to identify with their dad in how he looked, what he liked, what he did, what he would say…. They missed out on their life with him and they struggled in this world without him. Kell had so many mannerisms of his dad it was not funny, like for instance gagging when they were in cold water. It didn't amaze his mom that there were so many likenesses of his dad that he had, and he sure resembled him.
Kell will be greeted in the Star Nation by his Ate, Corey Bishop Sr, Tunwin Constance Ducheneaux, Mabel Grey Cloud Horned Eagle, Okana Sidney Fleury, Roddy Bishop, Bob Gingway, Kunsi Bernadine Gingway (White Mouse), Unci Ethelyne Jonnie Shangreau, Hunka Unci Virginia Jeannie Bad Moccasin, Maternal great grandmother, Bessie St. Pierre, great grandfather George Fleury, Paternal great grandmother Jiggs White Mouse, Maternal Great Great Grandfather Henry St. Pierre and Great Great Grandmother Zintkala Sa (Gertrude Simmons), Great Grandfather Herbert Joseph Wounded Knee, Great Grandmother, Julia St John Wounded Knee, Great Great Grandfather Peter Clement Wounded Knee, Great Great Grandmother Alice Sugar Fast Walker, Great Great Great Grandfather Fast Walker, Great Great, Great, Great Grandfather Chief Bone Necklace.
