Kelli Sue Arterburn-Sutton

Kelli Sue Arterburn-Sutton, age 57, of Duluth, Ga., passed away on September 29, 2025, due to complications from Leiomyosarcoma She was born on February 7, 1968, in Fort Eustis Va. Kelli graduated from Georgia Southern with a degree in Psychology. She went on to receive her Master's in Community Counseling. She married Richard Sutton in 1991 and moved to Jacksonville, Fla. After a few years she came back to the Atlanta area where she became a full-time mother to Jayson, Meghan, and Rebecca. During the children's older years, she served on the Peachtree Ridge High School cross county board. She also served on the Maple Ridge swim team board and was swim meet announcer for a few years. For the last few years, she has been working at Hull Middle School as the orchestra admin then registrar.

In 2017, Kelli was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma and bravely fought the disease for 8 years. Many thanks to the Dr Ummed and the staff at Northside Cancer Center and Dr. D'Amato at the University of Miami for their treatment and support in fighting the disease.

Kelli is preceded in death by her sister Kimberly Lewis. She is survived by her parents David and Barbara Arterburn, her husband of 33 years Richard Sutton, and her children Jayson (27), Meghan (24), and Becca (20). She will be greatly missed by scores of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Kelli will be held on October 26 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, Ga.
