It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tony Suk Bum Kim, who left this world on September 30, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on November 9, 1955, in Korea, Tony lived a vibrant life, ultimately settling in Duluth, Georgia, where he dedicated himself to his family and his profession for over three decades.
Tony was a loving husband to his wife, Melissa Kim, with whom he shared 36 joyful years of marriage. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home filled with love and laughter. Tony proudly raised two wonderful children, Nicholas and Valerie, who are a testament to his commitment as a father and role model.
With a Doctorate in dentistry, Tony owned and operated his dental practice for 37 years, providing exceptional care and building lasting relationships within the community. His dedication to his patients went beyond the confines of his practice; it was a reflection of his kind heart and compassionate spirit.
Tony had a zest for life that extended beyond his professional achievements. He was a passionate outdoorsman who loved boating, golfing, and fishing. The serene beauty of nature brought him great joy, and he cherished family trips to the beach, where memories were made under the sun. His adventurous spirit and love for travel enriched his life and the lives of those around him, inspiring many to embrace the beauty of the world.
A Graveside Service will be held on October 8, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Marietta Memorial Park, located at 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. Prior to this, family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service on October 7, 2025, at 7:00 pm, to celebrate Tony's remarkable life and the profound impact he made on everyone he encountered.
As we remember Tony, we invite all who knew him to share their stories and reflect on the joy he brought to our lives. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered, forever living on in our hearts.
