It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly M. Curtiss-Chapman 44 of Stephentown, N.Y.
Kelly grew up in Brainard, N.Y., graduated from NLCS in 1998, drove school bus for NLCS and worked as a delivery driver for FedEx. Kelly’s greatest passion was being a Mom, “Daudder”, Sister, and Grandma. She loved her family deeply. Kindness was her passion as well as her granddaughter Amoura Curtiss with whom she spent almost every day caring for. She was known for her infectious laugh and her bubbly and fearless personality. Our broken hearts will forever feel the loss and emptiness of her absence.
“Daudder”of Sidney and Kimberly Curtiss(Tom), mother of Jakob (Taylor) Curtiss, of Rensselaer and Cayden (Shyann) Chapman, of Nassau, and stepmother of Dylen Chapman, of Nassau.
Sister to her “Brudders” Jamie (Odette) Curtiss of Stephentown, and Andrew (Abigail) Curtiss of Brainard. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Sadie, Alexis, Jamison, Sidney, and Kat; aunts and uncles Karen and Glenn Passino, Margie, Billy, James, Joan and Harold Curtiss, Patsy Casavant, and Barbara Chew, and many many cousins.
Predeceased by her father Sidney Curtiss; grandparents, James and Charlotte Long III, and Harold and Lois Curtiss; aunt Mary Long, and her husband Jeffrey Chapman.
Family and friends are invited to visit with Kelly’s family from 3-5pm on Monday, February 17, at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, N.Y. 12123.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Stephentown EMS and Fire department for their compassionate care and professionalism.
