In Loving Memory of Kelly Jean Robison (affectionately known as “Big Maw”)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kelly Robinson on October 27, 2024. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she brought warmth, joy, and love to all who knew her. Her laughter, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family will forever be remembered.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Herman Robinson, who shared in her life’s journey; her cherished children, Tyarria (Butch) Howard, Carmen McCoy, and Jaylyn Robinson, each of whom she loved deeply; and her adored grandchildren, Jazmin “Grand Baby” Jackson, Cameron “Cammy” Brandenburg, Jayzel “Swoop” Howard, Kirrah “Suggio” McCoy, Kali Reynolds, Olivia Hambrick. She is also survived by her sister, Christina (Steve) Ware; brother, Rick (Tina) Spriggs; sister-in-law Barbara Jean Robinson; brother-in-law, Kevin “Keeb” Robinson, with whom she shared a close bond.

She had a special relationship with her nephews Mike Owes, Rick “Boobie Do” Spriggs, and Trevonne “Woonka” Spriggs, who brought so much joy into her life. Her favorite cousins, Harrison “Bud” Foster, Sheila Stokes, Tammy Foster, and William “Bill” Foster, shared countless cherished memories with her.

“Big Maw” will be greeted in heaven by her father, Bruce Lewis; mother, Mary K. Lewis; her beloved grandmother, Mary “Gram” Williams; mother-in-law, Dorothy Mae Carter Robinson; cousins, Calvin (Herk) Jimmerson, & Greg Saunders; aunt, Jackie Foster; uncle, Juney Foster; nephew, Britton Lewis; and her niece, Destiny Spriggs.

Kelly Jean Robinson touched the lives of so many, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind: a host of loving relatives and dear friends who will cherish her memory always. Though she may be gone from our sight, her spirit and memory will remain with us.
