Garland "Gar" E. Curry, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, passed away peacefully at home in Powell Ohio on November 7, 2025 at the age of 79. He was born on September 16, 1946 in Marysville Ohio.
Garland is preceded in death by his grandparents; George and Erma Curry, parents; Virgil Curry and Betty LeValley, sister; Erma Curry, Brother and sister-in-law; George and Gloria Curry, 2 nephews; Michael and Danny Curry.
Garland is survived by his twin daughters; Daphne (Brad) Poole and Dana (David) Kemppel, 5 grandchildren; Donna (Dillan) Davenport, Nickolas (Ashlee) Beougher, Andrea (Skyler) Scheiderer, Tylor (Nick) Adkins and David Branden Kemppel, 6 great grandchildren; Ryleigh, Skyler, Ryker, Ella, Noah, and Theodore, 1 great grandson on the way; Maverick, 1 nephew; George Curry, and several great nephews and nieces; Mike, Chaz, Cory, Tawney, Haley and Hayden.
Garland was a simple man who loved more than anything to be with his family and to root for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
