Kelsey Erden Kuhn, age 79, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born in Oak Hill to the late Charlie Kuhn and Mary Johnson.
He is survived by his sons, Kelsey E. Kuhn Jr., and Michael (Teresa) Kuhn; grandchildren, Cody, Carley, Michael Jr., and Amanda Kuhn; three great grandchildren, Trevin, Armani and Knox; two sisters, Suzie Markham, and Wilma Jean Yelley.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Roger Kuhn; sister, Joyce Harris and his grandparents who raised him, Roy and Ev Johnson.
Kelsey went to school at Hamilton off SR 139. He was a timber cutter all his life. He was an avid mushroom hunter.
The family would Special thank you to the staff at Passport and Abbott Home care for their special care given to Kelsey.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 11-1 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 at the funeral home with Dale Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
