I knew Ken as Mark´s dad, and I really liked him. Ken and Carrie made their home the go-to place for a group of us during high school, and I´ll always be grateful for the meals, patience, and leniency they showed to our little crew. Most of all, I´m thankful that Ken gave us the space to be our dumb teenage selves, while keeping us from straying too far off track. I can´t overstate how important that was for me.
One of my favorite memories of Ken was from a random summer day in high school. I got a call from Mark saying everyone was coming over to swim-girls, bikinis, oh boy! I made it to his house in record time! I arrived to a few pallets of roofing shingles and a bucket of hammers. No girls, no bikinis-just hard work and real-life skills. He fed us, he paid us, he taught us how to roof a house. That day was a lot of fun. I really liked Ken. My sincerest condolences to the Hendersons.

Ken was such a loving, kind man, who was such a teaser with a twinkle in his eye. He will surely be missed, but we will join him in that blessed home in heaven! May God grant his dear wife, Carrie and his family with peace and comfort in knowing that he is in Jesus arms.

Kenny was a great man and just a cool dude all the way around. His love of God, family, friendliness and sense of humor made him one in a million. The world will be worse off without him. I will catch up with Ken the other side in paradise.
May Almighty God comfort his beautiful family. They will surely see him again.
