Kenith "Kenny" Walls, 67, of Meridianville, Alabama, passed away on December 7, 2026. Born on February 26, 1958, in
New Hope, Alabama, Kenny grew into a man whose strength, humor, and enormous heart touched everyone around him.
Kenny was wonderfully stubborn - the kind of stubborn that came from caring deeply and standing firm in what he believed. But even more than that, he was loving. He had a way of showing up for the people he cared about, making them feel safe, supported, and deeply cherished. To those who knew him, he truly was one of the best people you could ever hope to have in your life.
He devoted 33 years to the Huntsville Police Department as a police officer and investigator. He served with courage, integrity, and steadiness that made a lasting impact on his coworkers and his community. Kenny never sought praise or attention; he simply did the right thing because that's who he was.
Family was the center of Kenny's world. Some of his happiest days were spent by the water, passing summers at the lake with the people he loved most. He treasured family trips, especially to the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee - a place that brought him peace and joy, and where many of his favorite memories were made.
Kenny is survived by his devoted wife of 17 years, Cindy Walls; his daughter, Stephanie Clark (Shane); his son, Steve Spivey; and his grandchildren, Alexus Clark and Deegan Clark, who were truly the light of his life. He loved his family with everything he had, and his grandkids held a special place in his heart that nothing could ever replace.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in
Huntsville, Alabama, with the service to follow.
Kenny will be dearly, deeply missed. His love, his laughter, and his steady presence will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
