Kennedy Aurie-Dea Cowans was born in Columbus, Ohio, on November 5, 2002, to Gregory Dunson, Sr., and Erica Cowans departed this life on June 5, 2023.
Kennedy was educated in Atlanta and Columbus public schools and graduated from Groveport Madison High School. Kennedy loved photography, Tik Tok and music videos. She was passionate about fitness and ran a popular Instagram fitness page. She aspired to become an Eye Lash Technician.
She greatly loved her grandparents and had a very special relationship with her grandfather, Gregory Dunson.
She was preceded in death by great-grandfather Rev. J. Matthew Carter, Sr., great-grandmother Beverly Bynum, and great-grandparents Olas and Rose Dunson.
Survived to cherish her memory: parents, Gregory Dunson, Sr., Erica Cowans; grandparents, Timmie and Cheryl Cowans, Sandra Bowden, and Gregory Dunson; sisters, Emperial Williams, Kamryn Cowans, Amya Dunson, Katie Cowans; brothers: Gregory Dunson, Jr. Kingston McFadden, and Anthony McFadden; Great- Grandparents Harold and Brenda Cowans; Her special loving and caring Aunt Nicole Carter; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
