Published by Legacy on Aug. 22, 2025.
Kenneth Wayne Biesinger, born September, 1 1972, returned to his loving and eternal Heavenly Father on August 16, 2025 at Lake Powell Reservoir. Kenny, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and an unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, associates, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ken is survived by his beautiful children, Jacob, Breeann, Allison, and Jacklyn, their mother Amanda, his siblings Pam (Mike), Janna, Robert (Angie), Annette, and Brent (Rachel), his honorary sister Lei (Matt) and their children. Ken was the cherished son-in-law of Steve, Sherry and Warren, and the beloved brother-in-law of Desiree (Jason), Amber (John), Corinne, Kera (Trent) and Jordan (Brandon). He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who absolutely loved and adored him, many who also viewed him as an elder brother or father figure. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Joann (Earl), and Joseph. After his graduation from Brighton High School, Ken attended Brigham Young University (BYU) as an undergraduate. He interrupted his studies to embark on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to spread the word of his Savior to the people of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. For nearly two years he labored diligently in his Father's vineyard to bring hope, love, and light to those he taught. He continued this pursuit as he returned home by lifting and serving those in need. Ken's faith in Jesus Christ was the guiding force in his life. His dedication to serving others, whether through his missionary work or in his everyday actions, was a testament to the love he held for the Savior. He returned to BYU to finish his undergraduate degree. He found passion in and a means to one day support a family in the accounting field. Ken went on to earn his Master's degree and CPA in record setting time. Outside of his missionary work and collegiate achievements, Ken possessed the ability to see and make opportunities to develop wealth. His knack for this and entrepreneurial mind was present even as a young boy who sold soda pop to thirsty golfers near his home at the Willow Creek golf course. He understood the value of things and how to use his investments to better the lives of others. Each time he experienced success, he blessed those around him by generously sharing his resources with all those in need. Kenny developed a love for the red rocks of Lake Powell and Moab. He felt most at home exploring, climbing, and adventuring with his beloved friends and family. He had a passion for boating, wake boarding, skiing, four wheeling, and just enjoying the beauty of the outdoors with those he cherished most. Ken loved those he worked with and treated them like family and they in turn saw him as much more than a work associate, he was family. His clients loved him and they too became part of an ever growing list of those impacted by his love, kindness, and generosity. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, always leaving them feeling valued and understood. To know Kenny, was to love him. He had the most generous of hearts and never once expected anything in return. Though Kenny's time with us was too short, his impact was profound. His legacy lives on through his children, his loved ones, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith.
