Kenneth Chamberlain Obituary
A longtime Closter resident, he was Scoutmaster of Troop 63, a member of the St. Mary's Mr. and Mrs. Club, a member of the Closter Board of Education, and, most recently, served as Treasurer of the Knights of Columbus Queen of Peace Council 3679. Kenneth enjoyed genealogy, traveling, reading, and caring for his home and yard. His varied career included roles at the United States Postal Service, Lipton, ITT, Metromedia, and the U.S. Census Bureau. He ultimately retired as a cytotechnologist from Quest Diagnostics.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Fina; his son Richard and his wife, Laurie; his son Christopher; his son Andrew and his wife, Nicole; and five grandchildren-Matt, Katie, Aly, George, and Grace.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, January 8, at St. Mary's Church in Closter, beginning at 9:30 a.m., with a mass at 11 a.m.
