Mix, Kenneth “Charlie” C., 89, Cresson, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. Born October 5, 1936, son of the late Kenneth C. and Frances (Anstead) Mix. Charlie is also preceded in death by his infant daughter, Judy; and sisters, Mary Ellen Illig and Irma L. Pacior. Charlie is survived by his children, Kenneth Mix, Thomas (Charlotte) Mix, Catherine (Ken) Watt, Susan Mix-Ice, and Joseph Mix; his sister, Fran Kodosky; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Charlie worked for many years for Biter Electric as a transportation driver. In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed visiting Benezette to view the elk. He also loved going for motorcycle rides on his white Honda Trike. At Charlie’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, "Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care."
