Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 7 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Rev. David Pickering will officiate.
Born September 7, 1953 in Camilla, GA, Mr. Cox was the son of Faye Avery Cox and the late Charles Louis Cox. He was also preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Stephanie Cox. Mr. Cox worked for the Mitchell County Tax Assessors Office for 36 years. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Linda Piland Cox of Pelham; children, Buddy Cox (Laura) of Valdosta, Brianna Cox of Pelham, Kayla Dooling (Cody) of Pelham, Austin Sharp of Pelham, Dustin J. McMillan of Pelham, Amy Worsley (Jay) of Bainbridge, Lacie Heard (Lawton) of Camilla; his mother, Faye Cox of Leesburg (formerly of Pelham); sister, Barbara Green (Steve) of Leesburg; brother, Timmy Cox (Kaye) of Bainbridge; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
