Kenneth Michael DeMay (Rooster) 67 of Middleburg Florida passed away peacefully Sunday November 10, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Kenny was born July 20, 1957, to Kenneth William and Betty Ann DeMay.Kenny was a handyman owner of KMD maintenance for many years. Kenny was an avid hunter, if he was not hunting, he would spend his time fishing. Kenny loved wildlife and animals of all kinds. Kenny raised many flocks of quail in his lifetime.Kenny married the love of his life Lynette, and they spent 24 loving years together. Kenny also gained 3 stepchildren he loved unconditionally. Kenny has many nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.Kenny is proceeded in death by his father Kenneth William DeMay, his brother Robert DeMay, and sister-in-law Missy DeMay.Kenny is survived by his mother Betty Ann DeMay, his wife, Lynette DeMay, brothers Barry (Robin) DeMay, Jerry DeMay, David DeMay, sister Leslie DeMay, stepchildren Marc (Joann) Chesser, Jaime (Dan) Uhl, Adam (Katie) Chesser, Debbie Hatcher, and Donna Hatcher. Kenny has 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.Family will receive visitation on Thursday November 14, 2024, from 5-7 at Helm's Funeral Home.Funeral Services will be held Friday November 15, 2024, at 11:00AM at Helm's Funeral Home in Green Cove Springs, FL.Interment will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Green Cove Springs,
