Ken attended school at Halstead grade and high school and graduated in 1961. He proudly served in the U.S. Army (1963-1966) and was stationed in Germany with the 8th Infantry Division. Ken returned to Minnesota and moved to Minneapolis where he worked and met the love of his life. Ken and Sherry (Hall) were married on July 15, 1967. They later moved to a farm in Eagle Lake, Minnesota in 1974 where Ken bought and sold feeder pigs and raised hogs. Ken and Sherry were blessed with two sons and were married for 58 years.
