Kenneth Ely Obituary
He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War. He enjoyed spending summers with his grandchildren teaching them to shoot, watching John Wayne movies, fishing, and sitting on the porch watching the sun set on the lake. He will be missed for his quirky jokes and the support, love, and encouragement he gave.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Doris "Hyden" Ely, sons Steven and Keith Ely, sisters Dorothy, Geneva, and Reba, and brothers Lee and Edward.
He is survived by:
Daughter: Donna (Steve) Berke
Grandchildren: Heather (Jeffrey) Gagliano, David Bickler, Keith (Melissa) Ely II, Kenneth (Kelly) Ely, Cassandra (Randy) Teadt, Cory Berke, Candra (Kyle) Kowalski, and Kristine Ely.
Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Per Ken's wishes, cremation arrangements have been made and no formal service has been scheduled.
