Kenneth P. Gabbani born April 8, 1936 in Chicago, IL, passed away on November 16, 2023 in Rosamond, CA at the age of 87. Ken was a proud Navy veteran having enlisted in 1954 and serving his country for 8 years. Ken began his work career with Illinois Bell. He later transferred to Pacific Bell when he moved west to California. He retired with AT&T.
Ken was a lifelong Chicago Bear fan and was a season ticket holder for many years. His Bears collection could rival anyones (even his own sons). Phone calls usually consisted of discussing the weather and how Da Bears were doing.
In addition to Da Bears, Ken loved bowling. He was on a team aptly named Da Bears. He and his wife would travel to Las Vegas for bowling tournaments. He was pretty good all the way into his late 70s.
Ken also loved Nascar, golf, and building and flying RC Planes.
Ken is survived by his sister, Jeannette Ralston. His children, Andy (Mari) Gabbani, Adriane (Arthur) White, Steven (Lorri) Gabbani. His grandchildren, Lidia, Gia & Rocky Gabbani; Kayla, Andrew & Jonathan Nemeth; Christopher Gabbani. His great-grandchildren: Noah, Elexis, Dante, Domacio, Zoey, Haylee, Troy, Lincoln, Leilani. And many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Ken is preceded in death by his wife, Sandy; brother-in-law Jack Ralston; and son-in-law Brooke Nemeth. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Kenneth, please visit our Tree Store.
