Kenneth Harrold Glenn, Sr., was born October 18, 1927, in Greenbrier, Arkansas, the son of Arthur A. Glenn and Pauline Hollis Glenn. He passed away on January 4, 2026, after a brief illness.
A resident of Jackson, Tennessee, Kenneth was the husband of Catherine Sue Glenn. Along with his parents, Kenneth was predeceased in death by his first wife, Edith Owen Glenn; and step-grandson, Keith Cowden. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Sue Glenn; his sister Joy Herrington, Greenbrier, Arkansas; his daughter, Pamela Lemley (Charles) Conway Arkansas; his son, Kenneth Glenn, Jr., Stuart, Florida; stepsons, William Cowden (Charlene), Steven Cowden (Polly), Timothy Cowden; and step-daugher Regina Bridger (Jackie); five grandchildren, Amy Glenn, Deanna Ott (Tray), Kristy Pulkrabek, Dr. Leah Richardson (Michael), and Nathan Lemley (Leah); step-grandchildren, Jason Cowden, Casey Richey, Tyler Cowden, Zachary Cowden, Amanda Bridger, Chris Bridger, Brandon Bridger, Cody Bridger, and Brent Cowden; great-grandchildren, Carter Lemley, Caleb Lemley, Caden Lemley (Lindsey), Brady Richardson, Dr. Meredith Ott, Casey Ott, Ben Pulkrabek and Carson Pulkrabek; step great-grandchildren, Cayman Cowden, Zoe Cowden, Elizabeth Cowden, Lakyn Speights, Braxtyn Speights, Mackenzie Graham, Oakley Garner, Avery Bridger, Caroline Bridger, Paisley Bridger, Dixon Bridger, Cooper Richey and Addison Richey.
Kenneth was proud to be a World War II Veteran, serving in the Navy on the USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31) in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign. Kenneth loved fishing and duck hunting.
Kenneth was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Monroe, Louisiana where he served as deacon for many years before moving to Jackson, Tennessee in 2019, where became a member of Englewood Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe, Louisiana on Saturday, January 10, 2026, 12:00 PM, with a visitation for family and friends at 11:00 AM until the time of service. Bro. David Willowby will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.
