Kenneth "Larry" Hagan, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024. We celebrate the life of a devoted father and loyal friend, who brought joy and adventure to those around him. With a passion for the open road, he found true happiness on a motorcycle or relaxing on the beach. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed cheering for his favorite teams UofL Cardinals and the Steelers. He enjoyed engaging in card games with friends and family.
Known for his reliability, he was the person you could always count on, providing support and kindness whenever it was needed. His generous spirit shone through in his commitment to charitable causes, such as Toys for Tots and the Ronald McDonald House, where he dedicated his time to ensuring others had a brighter day.
A thrill-seeker at heart, he embraced life’s adventures with enthusiasm, always striving to make others smile. His legacy of adventure, generosity, and unwavering friendship will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was born on December 7, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Leslie and Garnetta (Hartlage) Hagan. He is preceded in death by his Father, Leslie Elijah Hagan, Jr., Mother, Garnetta Beatrice Hagan, Siblings, Robert Pennington, Mary "Linda" Graf, and Janet King.
Larry is survived by his loving Daughter, Colleen Nicole Hagan; Best Friend, Debbie Hagan; Siblings, Karen (Leland) Keeling, Michael Hagan, and Margo Graf; Nephew, Blaine (Jenny) Pennington; Great-Niece, Jessica Pennington, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Larry’s memory be made to St. Jude’s's Children's Research Hospital.
