KENNETH WAYNE HARPER

Kenneth Wayne Harper entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 63. He was a native and resident of Avondale, LA. Kenneth was graduate of John H. Martyn High School Class of 1980. He was employed as a Landscaper and formerly employed as a Deckhand with Compass Marine. Kenneth was a father figure to Ashanti Magee and a grandfather figure to her child Angel Williams. Beloved son of the late Charlie Harper, Sr. and Pearline Stevens Harper. Grandson of the late Ben and Ethel Harper, Rufus and Maggie Stevens. Loving brother of Warren Harper, Bobby Million, Ray Charles Adams of Ohio, Watachulyn H. (Joseph Sr.) Gilbert, Latonya Q. (Christopher) Kennedy, and the late Charlie Harper, Jr. Also cherishing his memories are his nieces and nephews, Brian Harper, Brandon (Sharjanae) Harper, Shawn Kentrell Briggs, Joseph Gilbert III, Jarielle Gilbert, Javon Gilbert, Latosha Briggs, Corin Johnson, Michael Harper, Jr., and Warren Jarvell Scott. Brother in law of Marlene Harper.
