Alvron Wilson departed his residence on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the age of 82. He was a native of Gonzales, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. He was a graduate of Prairieville High School. After high school he served his country in the United States Army, and received several commendations, the Honored National Defense and Good Conduct Medals. Alvron was a retired truck driver and entrepreneur, who was employed for over 40 years with Napa Auto Parts. Beloved husband of Elva P. Wilson. Loving father of Jennifer Wilson Johnson, Jill Marie Wilson, Carrie Wilson (Troy) Beal, and Karen Wilson (Jerry, Jr.) Fairman. Son of the late Arthur, Sr. and Elma Wilson. Brother of Audrey Wysingle of Avondale, LA, Barbara Tuckson of St. Rose, LA, and the late Donald Ray Wilson, Arthur Wilson, Jr., Peter Wilson, Sally Wilson, and Mary Washington. Son in law of the late Sammie and Carrie Pinkney. Brother in law of the late L. J. Wysingle, Lanadis Tuckson, Sr., Adolf Griffin, Annie Ruth Freeman, Mary Ella Pinkley, Adeline Wilson, and Shirley Wilson, also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Thomas United Methodist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Thomas United Methodist Church 420 Webster St. Kenner, LA on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Minister Anice N. Moses, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until 9:45a.m. at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
