Kenneth Lee Hatfield, Jr., 59, of Washington Court House, died on Friday, August 8, 2025, at his home. He was born on Sunday, October 17, 1965, in Columbus, a son of the late Kenneth L. and Grace Maxine Seymour Hatfield, Sr.. On August 7, 1985, he married his wife of forty years, the former Rebecca ConIey, and she survives.
Also surviving are their daughter, Tabetha Hatfield of Delaware, Ohio, their three grandchildren, Xavier, Carter, Ethan, his siblings, Danny Lee (Brenda) Hatfield, Sherry Lynn (Gary) Park, Jenny Lanman, all of Chillicothe, as well as his two brothers-in-law, Wayne (Jan) Conley of Piketon, and Steven (Kelly) Conley of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Dalton Scott Hatfield.
Kenneth worked as a mechanical engineer for Ohio State Parks at Deer Creek State Park. He enjoyed collecting diecast cars. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. The service will be led by Kenneth's family, including his brother-in-law, Wayne Conley. Following the service Kenneth's wishes will be fulfilled and cremation will take place. He will later be buried in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 6 p.m. until the time of the service. Those who wish to share a memory of Kenneth may do so by signing his online register.
