Kenneth H. "Ken" Hill, 93, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, after a period of declining health.
He leaves his devoted wife of 37 years, Patricia A. (Kent) Hill; his loving children, Raymond "Ray" Hill and his wife Jane, of Uxbridge, Debra Hill, of Auburn, David Hill, of Arkansas, Robin Anderson and her husband Roger, of Princeton, and Karen Ritchotte, of Sudbury; his step-children, Karen Ares and her husband James, of Northborough, and Robert Zalieckas, of Bozeman, MT; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Hill, of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his brother, Warner Hill; two sisters, Shirley and Barbara; and a stepson, William Zalieckas.
Ken was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Henry and Marie (Boucher) Hill. He had an extensive work history, and retired early as National Field Service Manager at Postron Services, when the company closed. After retiring, he kept busy as a mail courier, then worked as a delivery driver for Mercier Electric and Napa Auto Parts.
In his free time, Ken enjoyed painting with oils in the style of Bob Ross, and loved creating landscapes. He also enjoyed tending to his yard, and traveling – he and Pat spent many vacations cruising to Bermuda and tropical destinations.
His family would like to thank the staff of Rose Monahan Hospice Home for their kindness and care, even if for the short time Ken was there.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate).
Services will be held privately for the Hill family. The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with arrangements.
