Debra Ann (Noonan) Erickson, 71, of Auburn, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, with her family by her side at Rose Monahan Hospice Home. She spent her last night surrounded by her loving and devoted family – her husband, children, siblings, in-laws, nieces, and nephews – whom she loved immensely.
She was born in Worcester to the late Thomas J. and Beverly K. (Scanlon) Noonan on September 2, 1954, and grew up in Auburn.
She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 46 years, Jeffrey B. Erickson; her children, John F. (Johnny) Mullen and Christine M. Bahosh and her husband Todd; and her cherished granddaughters, Cathryn and Caraline Bahosh, all of Auburn.
Debra came from a big Irish family, being the third oldest of nine children. Her loving siblings - who all would say Debra was truly the favorite - include Dennis T. Noonan, of Merrimack, NH; Thomas J. Noonan Jr. and his partner Jennifer Boyle, of Worcester; Marianne Noonan and her husband Dr. M. Rachid Och, of Shrewsbury; Elizabeth A. Noonan, of Shrewsbury; John D. Noonan and his ex-wife Bernice Martin, of Barre; William F. Noonan and his wife Darlene, of Grafton; and Patrick S. Noonan, who lived with her. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Jill St. Amant of Celina, Tennessee.
She adored her nieces: Cynthia, Stephanie, Brittany, and Danielle Noonan, Micayla (Noonan) Bourette, Heidi Thompson, and Molly Riley; and her nephews, Jordan and Justin Noonan, and Seif-Eldeine and Adam Och. She also leaves behind cousins and many extended family members.
Debra grew up in one of the best neighborhoods in Auburn-the Pakachoag/Clarendon/Kimball crew of kids. She made lifelong friendships and leaves behind her special friends, Wendy Berthiaume, Patricia Baker, and Louise Downie.
She was predeceased by both of her parents; her baby sister, Kathryn A. Noonan; her parents-in-law, Herbert and Edith (Betsy) Erickson; and her brothers-in-law, Jay Erickson, and Steven St. Amant.
Debra will be remembered for her boundless love, her sense of humor, and her ability to make everyone feel special. She was the heart of every gathering-strong, selfless, and full of warmth. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she cherished beyond measure. Those who were blessed to know her will forever hold her memory close and carry her love in their hearts.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday November 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday November 13th at Saint Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St. N., Auburn, with burial to follow immediately at Hillside Cemetery.
