Kenneth Huffer Obituary
Kenneth Leon Huffer, age 71, died at his home in Stephens, Georgia, on November 27, 2025.
Born on August 8, 1954, in Rocky Mount, Virginia, Kenneth grew up with his family in Madison County, Georgia. He worked in production with Reliance and Noramco before entering private contracting, where he enjoyed building. Living a quiet life, Kenneth spent many peaceful hours reading avidly, watching historical documentaries, and gardening on the farm with his three dogs. He found comfort in the time spent with his daughter and grandchildren.
He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved daughter Brittany Higdon and her spouse Dylan; three grandchildren Eva, Eleanor, and Bentley Higdon; sister Faye Humphrey and her husband Charles; brother Bobby Hanley and his wife Amy; nieces and nephews Jonathan, Luke, Emma, and Joshua Hanley; and maternal uncle John Leonard Hodges.
He was predeceased by his mother, Alice Hodges Hanley and his stepdad Roy Lee Hanley.
Visitation will begin with the family at 1:30 PM, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Moon’s Grove Baptist Church, 1985 Moon's Grove Church Road, Colbert, Georgia. Flower arrangements for the memorial service or sympathy flowers should be delivered to the church.
