Kenneth Monroe Johnson

Kenneth Monroe Johnson, 60 yrs-4mths-15days old, of Honaker VA, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy Va. He was born August 11, 1965 in Buchanan County VA, he was the son of the late Arthur Stuart Johnson and Carrie Penley Johnson. He had been a resident of Honaker VA for more than ten years and he was last employed at Arwoods Roofing & Siding.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters; Trula Mae Sutherland, Virgie Steven's, Bonnie Dale's, Betty Johnson, and Lucy Johnson, as well as four brothers; Arthur Johnson, Everette Johnson, Buster Johnson, & James Johnson.
Those that are left to mourn the loss of this great man include his precious wife of 18 yrs Teresa Johnson of the home, 6 wonderful children: David Johnson, Ashley Johnson, truly special son: Landon Johnson, Kayla (Justin Boggs), LeAnn (Brian Lester), Kierra Ray; Six grandchildren; Emmy, Elliot, Hope, Bryce, Brynnlee, & Mel; Sisters: Pam Arwood, Becky Fuller, Rita Fay Ratliff, Chloe Tiller, Myrtle Clark(Wayne Ray); Brothers: Elmer Johnson, Glen Johnson, & Dallas Johnson. A very close little lady Patience Hale.
Also, survived by a host of nieces & Nephew's.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Hess Cemetery on Swords Creek with Tommy Dye & Paul Day officiating.
Active Pallbearers will be: Landon Johnson, Ellis Johnson, Dallas(Bubby)Johnson, Justin Boggs, Bryce Taylor, Brian Lester, Ethan Johnson, Keith Keen, Andy Casey, & Bobby(a dear friend).
Honorary Pallbearers will be; Landon Miller, Gary Duty, Kerry Keen, Randy Fuller, & Randy Fuller II.
