Kenneth Jorritsma

Kenneth Jorritsma, 78, of Whitinsville passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2025 in Milford Gardens, Milford. He was the husband of the late Joyce M. (Stultz) Jorritsma.

He had lived in Pennsylvania for 21 years before returning to Whitinsville in 2013. Mr. Jorritsma was a courier for UPS Freight for 5 years before retiring in 2013, prior to that he was with over-the-road professional driver for many years.

He was born December 9, 1946 in Worcester, the son of the late Martin and Wilma (Smith) Jorritsma and was a graduate of the former Worcester Trade School. He was a beloved member of the First Congregational Church of Sutton and was very active in the men's fellowship breakfast at church. He was also a longtime member of the Danielson Veterans Coffeehouse in Putnam, CT.

Ken was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion- Dudley-Gendron Post in Sutton.

He is survived by a brother, Glenn D. and his wife Candice Jorritsma of WA and a sister, Judy and her husband Joseph Tavella of Northbridge, three nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 12 Noon in the First Congregational Church of Sutton, 307 Boston Road, Sutton.
