Kenneth G. “Ken” Sweet, age 77 of Canmer, KY passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at his home. He was a Deacon at Rowletts Baptist Church, part owner of Sweet Farm Equipment. He was a retired tool and die maker. He was a member of the Rio Verde Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed building things, working with his hands, and riding around in his truck with his dog Missy. He was a wonderful husband, father and papaw.
He is the son of the late Ernest Sweet Jr. and Velma Line Sweet.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Brooks Sweet, Canmer, Ky; two sons, Kevin Sweet and his wife Sidonie, FL, Greg Sweet and his wife Laura, Canmer, KY; four grandchildren, Aaron Sweet, FL, Chelsea Sutherland (Brett), Louisville, KY, Lyndsey Caudel (Zackary), Horse Cave, KY, and Tyler Sweet, Canmer, KY; one great granddaughter, Sadie Mae Caudel; his aunt, Inez Line Warf also survives.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 3:00- 8:00 PM CT and again from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM CT on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CT on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Devine officiating. Burial will follow at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.
