Ken was born in Woodbury, NJ on August 10th, 1936 to the late Clarence and Hazel Kennedy. He briefly grew up on a farm in Bernville, PA but was mostly a lifelong Gloucester County resident. He was a proud US Army Veteran. After his service, he worked several odd jobs including owning his own dump truck business, working with lawn mower repairs and boiler makers, but ultimately following in his fathers footsteps, retiring as a produce manager from a local grocery store.
In his spare time, you could always find him working on his model trains, in his garden, or volunteering at his church doing yard work. He also loved going to antique car shows, watching westerns, and having a sweet treat with a scalding hot coffee.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday August 9th from 10:00-11:00am followed by his funeral service with military honors at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery will be private. A luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Maple Shade Sportsmen's Club, 1010 E. Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ 08052 at 12:30 pm.
