Kenneth (Kenny) Allen Martin, Jr., 62, of High Point, passed away after a year-long battle with cancer, Friday, November 14, 2025, at Hospice Home of Randolph.
Born June 30, 1963, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Kenneth Allen Martin, Sr., and the late Kay Ray Martin. Kenny worked in sales for the furniture industry. Kenny’s love of the home furnishings industry began in his Grandfather Rays reupholsters shop and he carried on those traditions throughout his work life in High Point. Kenny had incredible talent in his work and took great pride in the work he did. Outside of family and work, his favorite place to be was the golf course. Kenny was never happier than when his children were born.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Jamie Martin of Columbia, SC; son, Benjamin Martin of Columbia, SC; daughter, Mary Grace Martin of Raleigh; brother, Kevin Martin of Ohio; sister, Karla Jones (Steve) of Winston Salem; nieces and nephew, Mallory Brown(Cody), Ashley Martin and Hunter Jones(Riley); as well as many friends and family.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the chapel of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends following the service.
