Kenneth Ray Kirby was born on October 26, 1952, to Raymond Kirby and Mildred Eaton in Kerman, California. He passed away from this life on November 27, 2024, at the age of 72.
Kenny loved his work as a Mason and was an expert bricklayer who often worked sunup to sundown. A hard worker his entire life, Kenny began his career early, obtaining his first job before he was even close to being old enough. When they eventually found out his tender young age, the company was forced to let him go. When Kenny did allow himself time to relax, he enjoyed sitting back, listening to music, and having a drink. He also loved OU football, NASCAR, and would sit down and play dominoes with anyone up for a challenge. Though there were an abundance of things that brought him joy, it was ultimately Kenny's family that made him the happiest. He was a father figure to many of his family members and friends over the years and was always proud to watch those around him grow and thrive in their own lives.
As we say our goodbyes to Kenny Ray Kirby, let us cherish the many good times he shared, honor him for his many talents and accomplishments, and hold his memory dear, always. He will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
He is survived by his mother, of the home, his brother, James Kirby of McLoud, OK, his nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Tyler. His sisters Patricia Martin and Mary Bush will meet him at the gates of Heaven, along with his dad.
