Kenny Kirschbaum of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away on August 5, 2025 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN, surrounded by family. Kenny was born to Marvin and Bernell Kirschbaum on March 14, 1949 in Granite Falls, MN.

In 1958 the family moved to New Richmond, WI where Kenny graduated from New Richmond High School in 1967, he later attended trade school to become a welder and became a dedicated welder at Donaldson’s in Baldwin for over 20 years, where he later retired in 2013. Kenny’s dream was to have a piece of land and a hobby farm; in 2004 his dream came true. He loved his farm and was proud of the home he created.

Kenny was a jack of all trades, loved his projects and loved collecting things that were his treasure. Kenny was a family man, never missed an event, he was a jokester, always playing pranks or telling jokes, he loved telling stories to anyone that would listen. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He doted on his grandson James, they were the best of friends and enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on projects or simply chatting on the phone. Kenny had an infectious smile and laugh that will greatly be missed by so many people.

Kenny is survived by his children Roshelle Martinez of Ogden, UT, Darrin (Elizabeth) Kirschbaum of Menomonie, WI, Becky Olson of Woodville, WI; grandchildren James (Lexi) Kirschbaum, Spencer Kirschbaum, Shauntelle Valdez, Anthony Martinez; 9 great grandchildren; 4 loving sisters Bonnie (Lloyd) Peterson, Gail (Tim) Zurn, Kaye (Dan) Steel, Faye Kirschbaum and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Bernell Kirschbaum, nephew Eric Peterson, and many special cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at O’Connell Funeral Home in Baldwin, WI on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Visitation is held at 1:00 pm and service at 2:00 pm.
