Kenneth Raymond Koebel, 81, of Fremont, OH passed away on September 20, 2025 at Elmwood Communities in Fremont, OH. Ken was born on September 12, 1944 in Fremont, OH the son of John E. and Mary Ellen (Jones) Koebel. He was a 1962 graduate of Ross High School and received his master’s degree in electrical engineering.
Ken served in the US Navy from 1962-1965. He was an electrical engineer for many years while living in Colorado. Ken raised many Weimaraner dogs as hunting dogs and enjoyed showing them. He also enjoyed fishing, hiking and loved the outdoors and animals.
Ken is survived by his sister, Patricia (Gary) Schaaf, Fremont and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Gloria Schneider, Richard Koebel and Jerry Koebel.
It was Ken’s wish to have no services.
Burial will take place privately at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
